Our Aim

Our aim is to provide the very best training available and for our students to learn and grow as performers and as individuals through hard work, determination and, most of all FUN!!!! We do not want to open as many schools as possible or to fill classes with as many bodies in order to make as much money as possible. We want to bring the very best of opportunities to each individual.

Our Concept

In theatre or in class LA Stage School enables young people to explore the world of performing arts through imagination, co-operation, hard work, the discipline of performance, and good fun. Whatever the reason young people join LA Stage School: a chance to meet new friends in an exciting environment, an ambition to work professionally in the performing arts, an opportunity to build self-confidence, or simply something new and exciting, there are lots of things to be gained by everyone.

Who Is It For?

Any one aged 3-16yrs interested in performing dance, singing or drama no experience is necessary to join.

Our Staff

Every member of LA Stage School staff join because they have a desire to work with young people and it helps them to fulfil their artistic potential. All of our tutors are highly acclaimed practitioners in their own areas of expertise. At LA Stage School all tutors are carefully selected on their specialist skills, their personality, enthusiasm and ability to relate to young people and bring out the best in each individual, All tutors are fully disclosure checked and are insured fully.

Principal/Dance Tutor

Lesley-Anne has been dancing from the age of 3 becoming the UK freestyle/disco champion then going onto train in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap, Street, Hip Hop, Pilates, choreography, singing and acting at Edinburgh's Telford College and received a BA Honorary Degree in professional stage dance.

Lesley-Anne then went on to dance for MTV with Wade Robsin choreographer for Beyonce and Britney Spears, she has performed as a professional dancer in pantomine in Scotland and has danced for a Contemporary/Ballet company on tour.

Throughout her years as a dancer Lesley-Anne has worked on some of the largest cruise ships in world and performed in the largest casinos including Casino Estoril, Portugal and Casino Du Liban Lebanon. She has taught technique classes for professional ice skaters on tour with Holiday on Ice, choreographed by Robin Cousins. And most recently Lesley-Anne has taught children at Knightswood Dance School Of Scotland, and working with children from Stagecoach Theatre School took 15 children, named Action, to the finals of Glee Club on BBC, where they won the mucical theatre group for the whole of the UK.

She has also taught private lessons in slow dance/technique for contestants on SKY's Got To Dance. She is delighted to be opening her own school and to be passing on the skills and knowledge she has gained to children in the area where she was brought up.
